A popular Telugu snack dish called uggani baji is frequently made in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The following is a recipe for Uggani Baji:
Instructions:
- Over medium heat, warm the oil in the pan.
- Splutter the mustard seeds after you've added them.
- The cumin seeds should sizzle after being added.
- Green chilies and finely chopped onions are added, and they are sautéed until the onions become translucent.
- Mix well after adding the turmeric powder.
- Mix well before adding the puffed rice and salt to taste.
- Cook for a few minutes, or until the puffed rice is thoroughly heated.
- Add chopped coriander leaves as a garnish.
- Serve hot Uggani Baji with wedges of lemon.
