How to make a Gobi Manchuriyan
Gobhi (also known as cauliflower) Manchurian is a well-known spicy, crunchy, and tasty Indian-Chinese fusion dish. To make Gobhi Manchurian at home, follow this recipe:

Ingredients:
- Regarding gobhi fritters:
- Cut one small cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
- all-purpose flour, half a cup
- 14 cup cornmeal
- Ginger-garlic paste, one teaspoon
- 12 teaspoon of red chilli powder
- Add salt to taste and water as needed.
- for use in deep-frying
When using manchurian sauce:
- 1.5 tbsp oil
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon of finely minced ginger
- 1-2 chopped green chilies
- 1 medium onion, chopped finely
- 1 small pepper, chopped finely
- 2/tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 1/9 cup soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon chilli sauce
- 12 teaspoon vinegar
- Salt as desired
- 14 cup of water
- 2 tbsp of water and 1 tbsp of cornmeal dissolved
- 1-2 chopped spring onions for garnish
Instructions:
- All-purpose flour, cornflour, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, and salt should be combined in a sizable mixing bowl. Whisk in the water gradually to create a lump-free batter.
- Pour the batter over the cauliflower florets, evenly coating them. Deep-fry until golden and crispy in hot oil. To drain off extra oil, use a paper towel.
- Warm up the oil in a wok or pan for the manchurian sauce. Green chilies, ginger, and garlic should all be finely chopped. Saute until fragrant for one minute.
- Include the finely chopped onions and peppers. Vegetables should be stir-fried on high for a couple of minutes to get them slightly cooked but still crunchy.
- Add salt, vinegar, soy sauce, chilli sauce, and tomato ketchup. Mix thoroughly.
- Bring water to a boil after adding. Stir in the dissolved cornflour.
